Reintroduction: Still Here, Still Sharp

Pretty, Private, and to the Point—some things never change, even when everything else does.

It’s been a while since I’ve graced these pages with my particular brand of forest-dwelling wisdom, and honestly? I haven’t missed the obligation to perform for an audience. But I have missed the release, the way words cut through the noise and get straight to the marrow of things.

If you’re new here, welcome to the woods. If you’ve been waiting—well, patience is a virtue I respect.

I’m still the same witch who finds more truth in morning mist than most people find in their entire belief systems. Still choosing animals over humans nine times out of ten. Still working with shadows because the light gets boring after a while, and someone has to tend the spaces others are afraid to enter.

The homestead has grown wilder, the corporate chains feel heavier, and my tolerance for bullshit has somehow gotten even thinner—which I didn’t think was possible. I’ve been doing the work, the real work, the kind that leaves you raw and reborn in equal measure. The kind that doesn’t make for pretty Instagram posts but makes for a life worth living.

I’m still kind but not nice, still soft and sharp simultaneously. Still believe in science and magic as co-conspirators rather than enemies. Still think luxury and simplicity can dance together if you let them.

The woods have been teaching me new things while I’ve been quiet. About restraint. About when to speak and when to let silence do the heavy lifting. About the power in choosing your battles and the wisdom in walking away from fights that were never yours to begin with.

But now I’m back, with dirt under my nails and stories to tell. Same voice, deeper roots.

Let’s see what kind of trouble we can cause.
